It just landed with a thud on my desk — the hottest Christmas present for 2016 here in YEG. It’s a new cookbook called Edmonton Cooks (published by Figure1).
The tome — hardcover and with gorgeous photos — is written by local food writer Tina Faiz and former Edmontonian Leanne Brown, the author of Good and Cheap. Edmonton Cooks is a collection of signature recipes from the city’s best restaurants and chefs, including Larry Stewart of Hardware Grill, Rosario Caputo of Cibo and Andrew Fung of XIX Nineteen.
